We see three distinct groups of Transcon runners.

1. You’ve successfully finished GVRAT 2024 (Transcon Region 1) and didn’t sign up for subsequent Transcon regions.

Please sign up for GVRAT 2025 (R2). Registering for GVRAT25 entitles you to receive the new shirt for this year, and the new buckle (provided you finish before October 1). You’ll also earn the Region 2 medals when you complete GVRAT 2025 (R2) even if it is past the deadline for GVRAT finish (5 months). Once you complete GVRAT 2025 R2, wait until 2026 to join the GVRAT 2026 (R3). You have the option to order the Medal display board to showcase your medals.

2. You’ve already registered for and possibly finished the second region (R2) of the Transcon, so why register for GVRAT25?

Registering for GVRAT25 entitles you to receive the new shirt for this year, and the new buckle (provided you finish before October 1). Irrespective of the region that you are in, all of your GVRAT 2025 miles will be added to your Transcon miles, and you’ll receive the milestone posts by laz, and finisher certificates. Plus, you’ll move up on the all-time GVRAT mileage list. You have the option to order the Medal display board to showcase your medals.

If this is you, you’ve earned a discount because you’ve already registered for Region 2, and those fees will be applied to your GVRAT25 entry. Just register for GVRAT25, and at checkout enter your personal discount code. (Please reach out to us if you didn’t receive the email with the code)

3. You are only interested in completing US Transcon.

You completed GVRAT 2024 (Region 1) and went on to do the Transcon by registering for subsequent regions. If you are not interested in signing up for GVRAT 2025, please continue logging your activities in your current region. Sign up for subsequent regions until you complete all 5 regions to complete US Transcon. You will receive Region medals. You have the option to order the Medal display board to showcase your medals. This is somewhat similar to CRAW, where each region medal would fit into a frame to make a complete map of your journey.
